so cease and desist with the Christmas carols - or Holiday ditties - whatever the hell you want to call them. Why must every holiday be crammed down our throats? Hello, ad executives? I'm looking at you.
but can I say I am really loving this snow? Right at this very moment, anyway. anyone can appreciate snow and ice and general mayhem from the safety of their own home in wool socks and a sweater sitting in front of the fireplace and watching the entire 2nd season of 'Lost' (yes, folks, i am that far behind on 'Lost'. don't tell me how good it gets later or how it totally gets even better later on). also there is a coffeeshop within walking distance, i have a stockpile of booze, firewood and tomato soup - so i've got that going for me too.
we'll see how i feel about snow when i have to go to work tomorrow.
favorite Seattle-ite line heard over and over and over...: "It's not me. I know how to drive in the snow. It's all those other drivers out there." Sure, Dude, you're the rockstar - they're just holding you back.
And.... it just started snowing again. I am so glad I am NOT going to the Seahawks game. My ass is cold just thinking about it.

I saw that Seahawks game, you probably made the right choice.
And people here in Dallas damn sure don't know how to drive in ice and snow. Even the mention of snow freaks them out.
As far as the holiday thing, I am still in the holiday spirt even if I did see decorations out in Lowes before Labor Day.
Drink up!
Kate darling,
you've inspired me to create a blog. (:
love always, cousin christina
Well, I CAN really drive in the snow, it is those other losers. Cougs can always handle the snow man...oh, EXCEPT for Rachel, that broad is like a 90 year old blind woman in the snow.
sure, Kim, sure... :D
LOST is a great show...but have you checked out Weeds? I just watched 3 seasons in 5 days. It's like crack, only better.
oh GOD, yes. i found them quite by accident on NetFlix and was completely sucked in. i love having the opportunity to just LAUGH. oh and see my 'Channeling Nancy Botwin' post :D she's so sassy!
